Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of desertwingsflightschool.com (the “Site”) and any related services offered by Desert Wings Flight School (“Desert Wings,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
Use of the Site
The Site is intended for adults considering flight training in the Phoenix metro area. You may browse the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape the Site, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it, or use it in any way that could damage, disable, or impair Desert Wings or interfere with another user's use of it.
Information accuracy
We work hard to keep cost figures, timelines, FAA minimums, fleet specifications, and team information on the Site current and accurate. That said, FAA regulations change, fuel prices change, and the school evolves. The figures and descriptions on the Site are estimates and references, not contractual offers — your actual training cost and timeline depend on your individual pace, currency, and circumstances, and will be discussed in writing before you enroll.
Hourly rental rates and ground rates are subject to change with notice. The rates shown on the pricing page are the current published rates, but the rate that applies to you is the one in your enrollment agreement.
Flight training is not a service the Site provides
This website is an information and inquiry channel — booking a tour, requesting pricing, or sending a message through a form on this Site does not enroll you in training or commit either party to anything. Flight training itself is provided under a separate written enrollment agreement that you and Desert Wings sign before training begins. Discovery flights are sold under a separate intro flight agreement.
Third-party links
The Site contains links to third-party websites (Google Maps, our social media, FAA resources, etc.) that we don't control. We're not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those sites.
Intellectual property
All content on the Site — text, images, video, the Desert Wings name and logo — is owned by Desert Wings or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any of it without our written permission.
No warranty
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. To the maximum extent permitted by Arizona law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Arizona law, Desert Wings is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Site is limited to $100. (For clarity, this section is about the website itself, not about flight training — liability around flight training is governed by the separate enrollment agreement.)
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the current version took effect. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page for at least 30 days. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
