Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Desert Wings Flight School's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

Flight Training Services

Desert Wings Flight School provides flight training services in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. By enrolling in our programs, you agree to:

• Comply with all FAA regulations and requirements
• Maintain a valid medical certificate as required for your training level
• Follow all safety protocols and instructor directions
• Complete required ground school and flight hours
• Attend scheduled training sessions or provide advance notice of cancellation

Scheduling and Cancellations

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance
• Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may be subject to a cancellation fee
• No-shows will be charged the full lesson fee
• Weather-related cancellations made by the school will not incur fees

Payment Terms

• Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made
• We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
• Outstanding balances must be paid before scheduling additional flights
• All prices are subject to change with advance notice
• Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis

Safety and Liability

Student Responsibilities:

• Students must be medically fit to fly and disclose any health conditions that may affect flight safety
• Students must not fly under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Students must follow all instructor directions and safety procedures

Liability Waiver: Flight training involves inherent risks. By participating in our programs, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Desert Wings Flight School, its instructors, and employees are not liable for injuries or damages that may occur during training, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Aircraft Use

• Students must be authorized by an instructor before operating any aircraft
• Students are responsible for conducting proper pre-flight inspections
• Any damage to aircraft caused by negligence or violation of procedures may result in repair charges
• Smoking is prohibited in all aircraft
• Aircraft must be returned in clean condition with proper fuel levels

Student Conduct

We expect all students to maintain professional conduct. We reserve the right to terminate training services for:

• Violation of FAA regulations
• Unsafe behavior or disregard for safety procedures
• Harassment or inappropriate behavior toward staff or other students
• Failure to pay for services
• Providing false information on training records or applications

Intellectual Property

All course materials, training syllabi, and proprietary information provided by Desert Wings Flight School remain our intellectual property. Students may not reproduce, distribute, or sell these materials without written permission.

Privacy and Records

We maintain student training records as required by FAA regulations. These records are confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law or with your written consent. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

Termination

Either party may terminate the training relationship at any time with written notice. Upon termination, all outstanding balances must be paid, and training records will be provided to the student as required by FAA regulations.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona and applicable federal aviation regulations. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.
